Join William Hill AFL Pick The Ladder – Comp Not Running This Season !

In their never ending series of innovations intended to give punters new and interesting wagering opportunities, online bookmaker William Hill has designed a new season-long footy competition that offers a potentially huge payday of $100 million for a relatively small investment. This is but one of the changes to come along since William Hill took over the Sportingbet operation.

It is called Pick The AFL Ladder and it entails correctly picking the exact finishing order of the 18 teams which comprise the AFL.

Punters can increase their odds by making more than one prediction, up to 100 at five dollars per bet. If enough punters participate, either with one wager or many, it would be logical to assume that more than one punter will correctly predict the ladder, in which event the $100 million total prize will be divided equally. It is also conceivable that there will be one lucky winner who will walk away with the whole bundle. It is also possible that no one will correctly predict the ladder.

The finishing order will be declared by the AFL after round 23 is concluded. Wagers MUST be placed over the Internet with the William Hill website, a mobile wagering app or a mobile device. There is a six week window of time during which bets will be accepted by William Hill, commencing on Wednesday 4 March 2015 at 12:01 A.M. AEDT and concluding on Friday 17 April 2015 at 7:00 P.M.

Any prize money earned by successful ladder pickers will have their prize money deposited into their William Hill betting account, after which the usual withdrawal procedures take effect.

There are a few odd scenarios that need to be taken into consideration.

It is unlikely, but not impossible, that all of the 18 teams might not start or finish the 2015 season. Any potential delays to the season that would prevent round 23 from being played within seven days of the originally scheduled date will nullify all bets. In that event, all wagers will be refunded.

If a team was to be penalised and have points subtracted for a rules or regulations infraction, that team will be deemed as having been a starter for the purposes of the Pick The Ladder competition. No refunds will be given in this situation. It is the AFL who makes the decisions regarding any points deduction penalties.

Finally, William Hill does reserve as its right the ability to refuse any wager placed on the AFL Pick The Ladder 2015 competition. Join Pick The Ladder Here
